"This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice & be glad it," - 1 Samuel 2:1-10.
Sometimes the trials of life and hardship can come in like a wind and sweep us off our feet. We find ourselves focusing and worrying about things we honestly have no control over. And before you know it the week has flown by , 3 days have flown by and we ask ourselves where has the time gone?
You begin to realize that you've spent all of your time, you've spent hours , and sometimes even days worrying and completely focused on something that you had no control over. The same hours and days you will never get back. Often times we give worship to the devil without realizing it . He loves it when we spend our time worrying, he loves we spend our time trying to make things happen in our own power, he loves when we allow our emotions and circumstances to control our day or worse our life? Why because it brings honor to him, it glorifies him rather than Christ. We have now taken our eyes off of Christ and put them on our circumstances.
But why do we do these things when God has already promised us in his word that he would cause all things to work together for our good . Why? Bc he loves us and we love him and because we are all called according to his purpose ( Romans 8:28). So bad things may happen , we may have days when life seems to hit us a lot harder than we can handle but does that make God a bad God? NO. Beacuase God had already taken the bad things into account, he already had a solution before the problem even existed. God says in the verse he's going to allow all of those things to work together for our good because it's according to his purpose for our life, in the bad things thats when he gets ALL of the glory when things start working together for our good! Praise God!
Be encouraged that he hasn't left you to fend for yourself. What kind of God would he be If he did? He won't have you out here looking crazy . Instead allow your faith to take over and give your worship to God instead of the devil. Imagine what would happen if you took all of those hours, all of those days and all of the time you used complaining and turned it into worship for God!
As you go through your week be encouraged that everyday may not be the best , however it's another day you lived to see because God allowed so. Many didn't . Everyday that the Lord has made is a day to be grateful for whether it's good or bad because it's a new way we experience God, it's a new way we see his hand working in our life and it truly is a precious gift from above.
Just as the scripture says, weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning! 🙌🏾 ( Psalm 30:5)

Take some time this week to journal your gratitude to the Lord.
Intentionally (choose on purpose) to make time for God and sing worship to him, or recite a Psalm.
Make it a habit to reject every negative thought, emotion or situation and replace it with the word of God . Making it subject to God as the scripture says.
Don't forget to have fun and enjoy life , remember that God has you ! He protects you and he will provide you , his righteous has NEVER been forsaken .
