It Doesn’t Matter Where You Started God Will Complete It!

“ And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ."

Philippians 1:6 ESV

Where It All Started

I originally started my blogging Journey in early 2020 but I procrastinated so much because I didn’t trust my vision or the one who gave it to me. I always felt that I wasn’t good enough or that my content was too similar to other Christian content creators. I felt that no one would be interested in my content because I didn’t have the fancy designs, the cute call to action, or a product that would be of interest to people. I didn’t know how to create content or do graphics or make landing pages, in fact, I didn’t have any answers at all. I felt that I needed to be perfect spiritually, mentally & creatively before I even took steps to put out my vision.

When I finally decided to step forth into my calling I went through a series of names that I would name my Blog. I started with Kollege Savvy, Purposeful Radiance, Purposefully Radiant, and then The Desiring Millennials. I didn't have much money back then so I wasn't sure how I was going to start my blog but I did have a vision and that's what kept me going. As you can see in the collage above I took my own photos with my phone and tried to design my own graphics (I sucked, and I still do but I'm getting better, hahaha). Out of frustration, lack of resources, overwhelm & no partnership withGod I gave up on my vision and didn't pursue it until earlier this year.

Focus On God And Not Your Circumstances

Fast forward to today, because of God's grace and faithfulness you are here reading this devotional on this website. God is faithful and he will keep every promise he made to you. You're story may not look exactly like mine but God has promised and spoken something over each and every last one of us . Know that whatever it is that you are believing God for will come to pass.

“God is not a man, that He should lie,Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? ( Numbers 23:19)

Don't allow your circumstances to drown out God's promise and faithfulness to you. Keep Holding on with every inch of faith you have and God will meet you there!

God Will Complete What He started in you!

God reminded me over and over again (even still) that he was the one who gave me the vision in the first place! He was the one who planted that desire in my heart to help his daughters so he will be the one to start and finish it. He will be the one to give me the resources that I need, the one to give me the content ideas and strategies that I need & the one to give me the passion and fuel that I need. He reminded me to place my trust in him and his power and not my own. So I don’t know what things you may be struggling with in your life but start this week knowing that whatever decision God is calling you to make no matter what it is, Jesus Christ is the one who began that good work in you and he will be the one to bring it to completion!
